By Jennifer Giusti - Local Mom and Macaroni Kid Palo Alto Reader February 24, 2021

What to do when so many things are still closed? You find some local family fun. We have some pandemic ideas to bring some needed fun to your home! As a mom of 3 kids of all different ages, it is hard sometimes to find something that all 3 are interested in!

Our top 4 LOCAL take-home kits:

Cookie decorating kit from Lovejoy’s Tea Room in Redwood City
Our kit was full of different shaped cookies that included stars, rainbows, cupcakes, teapots, and different designs. Cookies were individually wrapped in packs of 2. We got 12 cookies, 3 icing tubes, and 3 packs of specialty sprinkles in our package. For holidays, they have holiday-themed packages too!

Or you can pick from fun kid pieces like monsters, dinosaurs, dragons, and unicorns or functional pieces like mugs, vases, and plates. They also have online classes and are now offering outdoor classes as well.
