The Immersive Beijing Team is calling young cultural ambassadors to explore authentic Chinese festivals, history, geography, medicinal herbal tea, food, folk arts, traditional sports, current news events, and more in their innovative project-based summer camp! They will be speaking Mandarin, making unique cultural projects, trying Chinese sports, and cooking every day with a few amazing local Alumni and Sherry, Middle School Mandarin teacher at Synapse School in Menlo Park!
You will also meet Chinese opera performers, calligraphers, lion dancers, Chinese acupuncturists, a Tai Chi master, tea ceremony performing artists, Chinese architects and more special guest speakers! A fun and relaxing field trip to Chinatown in San Francisco and Fortune Cookie Company will take place on one camp day in both sessions.
There will be a Hong Kong-style dim sum and tea party on Saturday, July 9th for all the enrolled families! The menu will be decided together by our campers, and Chinese tea bags will be hand-crafted by campers too.

Immersive Beijing Chinese Learning Summer Camp:
- Ages: 5-11 years old (K to 5th Graders)
