Description
The San Mateo County History Museum will present two programs on Tuesday, July 4 – crafts for children from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and film showings at 1:00 p.m. The "Old Fashioned Fourth of July" will invite children to celebrate Independence Day as they did in the 1880s, by making traditional July 4 crafts like pinwheels and paper parachutes to take home. The film presentation is entitled "A Beautiful Place to Live," featuring films from the museum’s archives that depict life on the San Francisco Peninsula during the 1930s. Museum admission will be half price: $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for seniors and students, and, as always, free for kids five and under. Activities will take place to coincide with the famous Redwood City Independence Day parade.
We always recommend confirming details before attending.
